PixelMEDIA Named as Finalist for the 12th Annual MITX Awards in Two Categories
Solutions developed for Segway and Fidelity Investments earn recognition from one of the country’s largest, most prestigious award competitions.
Portsmouth, NH - 10/08/2007 - PixelMEDIA, Inc., a rofessional services consultancy focused on internet enablement, today announced it has been selected as a finalist in two categories of the 12th Annual MITX Awards. Since 1996, the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange Awards rogram has grown to be among the largest and most distinguished cometitions in the country, celebrating the best creative and interactive accomlishments throughout New England.
PixelMEDIA was chosen for their exceptional work in the following MITX Award categories:
Consumer Goods category for the redesign of Segway.com - Segway, the leader in two-wheeled electric transportation, challenged PixelMEDIA with creating a new website that was Simply Moving. Segway wanted visitors and potential buyers to experience the interactivity and emotional highs of riding a Segway, and communicate a global presence reflective of Segways expanding customer base and popularity. PixelMEDIA brought motion and rich media into the Segway website with audience segmentation, 3D animation, and Flash videos, as well as dealer locator tools, further reinforcing Segways global reach and availability.
Financial Services category for the launch of Fidelitys Integrated Employee Experience (IEE)Industry leading financial services provider, Fidelity Investments called on PixelMEDIA for a flexible and dynamic sales tool for their global sales force. Unlike many sales presentations, the Fidelity IEE is a dynamic, interactive application that breaks the tradition of linear, static presentations. Its flexible architecture supports the varying informational needs and styles of presenters approaching the material from different perspectives, allowing them to tailor the solution based on audience, interests and needs.
