The Jackson Laboratory Partners with PixelMEDIA to Improve User Experience
Leading research facility collaborates with award-winning agency to heighten usability and satisfaction
Portsmouth, NH - 01/22/2007 - PixelMEDIA, a professional services consultancy focused on internet enablement, announced today that it is working with The Jackson Laboratory to design a more useful, accessible, and integrated website for the genetic research facility. PixelMEDIA complements The Jackson Laboratorys technology capabilities by focusing on the new websites user experience. This engagement began with a user experience-centered strategy workshop in which the team prioritized target audiences, developed a mission statement for the initiative, and prioritized key communication goals for content and design. Moving forward, the team will conduct stakeholder and user interviews to prioritize tasks and identify pain points of the current website. This research will help lay the foundation for information architecture as the team creates workflows and further fleshes out design and interaction patterns in the new site, scheduled to launch in early 2007.
