PixelMEDIA Wins 2006 MITX Award
Interactive video presentation created for Ektron, Inc. recognized as the best in the Technology Category by one of the country’s most prestigious award competitions.
Portsmouth, NH - 11/14/2006 - PixelMEDIA, a professional services consultancy focused on Internet enablement, today announced that a Flash-based video developed for one of its key clients and partners, Ektron, Inc., has been selected as the winner in the Technology Category for the 11th Annual MITX Awards. Held by the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange, the MITX Awards recognize excellence in the creation of interactive technologies designed, produced, or developed in New England.
The interactive, Flash-based video was created for Ektron, Inc., an industry leader in content management system (CMS) solutions and a valued partner of PixelMEDIA. The company had approached PixelMEDIA for a compelling presentation that would uniquely promote its product and industry leadership. PixelMEDIA chose to go right to the source and feature CEO Bill Rogers along with prototypical user scenarios in this lively and informative multimedia production.

Entries were judged by over 100 industry professionals representing various disciplines including creative directors, designers, technologists, online media representatives, investors and business professionals. In addition to the Technology Category, PixelMEDIA was also a finalist in the Professional Services (Burns & Levinson Website) and Consumer Goods (ECCO USA Website Redesign) categories.
