Three for the Show: PixelMEDIA Named a 2006 MITX Awards Finalist in Three Categories
Work completed for Burns and Levinson, Ektron, and ECCO USA earns recognition from one of the country’s largest, most prestigious award competitions.
Portsmouth, N.H. - 10/16/2006 - PixelMEDIA, a professional services consultancy focused on Internet enablement, today announced that it has been selected as a finalist in three separate categories for the 11th Annual MITX Awards. Held annually by the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange, the MITX Awards recognize excellence in the creation of interactive technologies designed, produced, or developed in New England.
Since 1996, the MITX Awards program has grown to be among the largest and most distinguished competitions in the country, celebrating the best creative and interactive accomplishments throughout New England. PixelMEDIA was chosen for their outstanding work in the following three MITX Award categories:
Professional Services Category for Burns & Levinson WebsiteThis Boston-based law firm wanted a new website that would convey its personal attention to clients, while still communicating a breadth of services. PixelMEDIAs dynamic solution also featured a content management system (CMS) to allow the firm to quickly and easily update the site as needed.
Technology Category for Ektron Interactive Flash-based videoAn industry leader in CMS solutions, Ektron, Inc. wanted an interactive Flash presentation that would reflect the unique passion of its CEO. PixelMEDIA chose to go right to the source and feature CEO Bill Rogers along with customer profiles in this lively and informative multimedia production.
Consumer Goods Category for ECCO USA Website RedesignThe worlds seventh largest shoe brand needed to upgrade its online store to provide a more consistent and rewarding user experience. Thanks to PixelMEDIA, the new site incorporates enhanced functionality and compelling content to attract shoppers and make them want to stay awhile.
