Business NH Magazine Selects PixelMEDIA As One of New Hampshire’s Best Companies to Work For in 2004
Recognition Coincides with PixelMEDIA’s 10th Anniversary Celebration
Portsmouth, NH - 12/09/2004 - PixelMEDIA, Inc., a full service company offering integrated strategy, design and implementation services for Web, multimedia and IT initiatives, today announced that the company was chosen as one of Business NH Magazines Best Companies to Work For in 2004. The magazine sponsored competition recognizes companies that strive to be employers of choice with judges looking at workplace morale, benefits packages, family-friendly policies, and other factors. The judges also visited the 20 semi-finalists to tour their facilities and interview employees and top management. In addition, timing for this award coincides with PixelMEDIAs 10th anniversary. Under the leadership of the two founders, Erik Dodier and Thomas Obrey, PixelMEDIA has grown to become one of the premier integrated Internet design and strategy companies in the Northeast.

As part of PixelMEDIAs 10th anniversary, Thomas and Erik surprised their employees by unveiling a employee lounge inside their corporate headquarters. This cozy gathering space provides employees a place to relax and mingle and includes a pool table, plasma screen TV, Xbox, darts, DVD, jukebox, tables, a bar and comfortable seating. At the unveiling, the day of festivities concluded with food, games, and a ten-year presentation by Thomas to help the team remember where the company came from and where its going.
To date, PixelMEDIA continues to demonstrate rapid growth each year and for the past ten years, PixelMEDIA has continued to operate without incurring any debt and with no outside investment assistance.
Business NH Magazines publishes the Best Companies to Work For list in its December issue. The companies will be honored at the Breakfast With The Best forum, which will be held Feb. 17, 2005, form 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Center of NH/Radisson Hotel in Manchester.
