Case Study: LogicaCMG

With several sites created by individual offices around the world, LogicaCMG needed a centralized corporate Web site that communicated LogicaCMG's key corporate messages, as well as gave their numerous global offices one centralized area for both internal and external information.

Challenge

As a global solutions company with more than 12,000 employees in 30 countries, LogicaCMG lacked a true, centralized corporate Web site. Each global division and each global office had developed its own site, which resulted in a cluttered, inconsistent identity for the company as a whole. While the corporate headquarters did have a shell of a site, it was more than three years old and lacked a dedicated administrator. As a result, the site had become unwieldy and inconsistent with corporate messaging, graphics, and content. Additionally, it was not equipped to gather and map critical employee and customer information back to central corporate decision-makers.

Solution

PixelMEDIA developed a Web site that incorporated LogicaCMG's key corporate messages and gave the numerous global offices one centralized area for both internal and external information. Like all of PixelMEDIA's projects, the first step was a full evaluation of LogicaCMG's existing Web presence, as well as an overall assessment of Logica's corporate goals and business plan. PixelMEDIA then developed a fully centralized global Web presence.

Additionally, PixelMEDIA created numerous customized applications to address the globalization issues facing LogicaCMG. The main application featured a cross-platform interface that could accommodate various language and localization requirements. PixelMEDIA also created a tracking and workflow system for job applications for multiple locations.
