Description
PixelMEDIA is looking for an experienced strategic, analytical and hardworking professional with strong consultative and excellent communication skills to perform search engine optimization (SEO) services for a growing client base.The SEO Specialist will work closely with clients to develop, execute and monitor effective online marketing campaigns. Primary responsibilities include on-page and off-page optimization (keyword analysis, keyword density, page rank, content optimization, meta tags, URL structures, link building, etc.)
Skill Requirements:
- 4+ years search engine optimization experience with proven results
- Strong understanding of website development techniques and SEO tools
- Solid understanding of search engine spider behavior, including familiarity with HTML, JavaScript or similar programming to understand how it impacts the way spiders see a page
- Track and report on campaign results, analytics, data analysis, and conduct client status calls
- Develop and perform link popularity campaigns
- Must practice ethical SEO techniques
- Must be well organized and have the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Ability to create and deliver effective presentations
- Solid interpersonal and communications skills
- Works well in both a team environment and independently to achieve client goals
- Excellent writing skills for writing website content
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Practical knowledge and understanding of Google Analytics required
- Pay for placement (PPC) campaign experience is a plus
- AdWords certification is a plus
Education/Training Requirements:
- 4+ years of direct experience in search marketing, preferably with an agency
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a client-facing position
- Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
