PixelMEDIA’s Account Managers focus on identifying, cultivating, closing, and managing new online initiatives within an existing account base. PixelMEDIA Account Managers are responsible for the successful management of existing client accounts and are expected to operate at a strategic level to ensure that the client relationship is positive, expectations are managed appropriately, and that existing clients remain a consistent source of revenue for PixelMEDIA.

In order to meet these objectives, Account Managers will partner with clients to understand and interpret their marketing plans and goals and help them to translate and map those goals against PixelMEDIA’s service offerings to help solve business problems. This will encompass all areas of the clients’ online corporate initiatives including; website design and development, website maintenance, web-based application development, e-commerce initiatives, marketing presentations, sales and collateral materials, partner community websites, search engine optimization, and training.

In addition, Account Managers will collaborate with, and provide direction to, cross-functional teams within PixelMEDIA to ensure the successful execution of client projects from conception through completion. The Account Manager must have a proven track record of 3+ years of successful account planning and management. They must have a demonstrated ability to build, nurture, and leverage relationships with senior and C-level executives using a consultative approach. They must have experience and confidence in their writing and communication skills, as well as developing and presenting account plans and proposals to clients. The positioning also requires networking and negotiation skills, the ability to manage long term online initiatives and interfacing with numerous departments. The Account Manager position offers a base salary plus incentives to grow and manage accounts.

  • Prior account management / relationship management experience
  • Ability to understand, convey, and present new ideas to clients
  • Ability to uncover future needs and champion new revenue opportunities
  • Experience and comfort level operating at the Senior/C-Level
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal as well as customer-facing initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Prior proposal writing experience
  • Solid understanding of marketing and sales at the strategic level
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
