BuyECCO.com originally launched with an off-the-shelf hosted commerce solution that was quickly outgrown. In order to meet the growing needs of the business, ECCO needed a partner that would provide a custom solution that would evolve as business needs matured, providing more robust tools that support their critical business activities, including:

PixelMEDIA provided an end-to-end solution that fulfilled the requirements at a strategic and tactical level. The initiative began with an in-depth strategy workshop designed to collaboratively analyze short and long-term business objectives. An attainable and aggressive feature set and 3 phase delivery schedule were drafted and approved to meet the immediate objectives and posture for future incremental enhancements.
The end result is a comprehensive e-commerce storefront and content and asset management system that was designed, developed and deployed upon Microsoft’s .NET platform. It features:
- A customized online store and configurable shopping cart offering multiple ship-to destinations, easy discount code management, and European size conversions
- A store locator designed to push customers to more than 3900 retail locations
- Wish list, opt-in updates and email-a-friend tools
- Real-time integration with inventory and order management systems (SAP)
- Administrative and reporting tools, including; product management, discount and coupon fulfillment, order and inventory management, cross-selling, traffic, revenue campaign management, and more
