OneShield, a leading insurance software and services provider with clients such as The Hanover Insurance Group and Darwin Professional Underwriters, recently re-launched its web presence after engaging long-time partner PixelMEDIA to create a new face fitting its explosive growth. In many ways, they helped create the need: OneShield has enjoyed dramatically increased visibility, increased sales with top-tier insurance carriers and glowing analyst coverage since their user interface design engagement with PixelMEDIA.
OneShield first approached PixelMEDIA to enhance the user experience of Dragon, its proprietary policy administration solution. Drawing on extensive User Interface Design (UID) capabilities, PixelMEDIA designed an experience more fitting for the powerful application. Their efforts were validated by customer feedback–and analyst coverage.
“OneShield Dragon stands out as one of the most flexible modern systems,” said Chad Hersh of research and advisory firm Novarica, previously of Celent where he authored the industry-leading report on policy administration systems. “Its browser-based AJAX front end offers one of the most modern interfaces on the market.” That interface attracted attention. Suddenly, OneShield was no longer seen as the niche product for mid-tier carriers. Multi-billion dollar industry leaders called on the company more and more, as their thought leadership and modern architecture were an obvious fit for industry demands.
As more customers noticed OneShield’s offering, a new web presence seemed like the best way to capitalize on leads and demonstrate the company’s end-to-end breadth of capabilities on a single, modern platform. PixelMEDIA worked closely with OneShield to produce a property that speaks to their consulting and technology capabilities across multiple lines of business and their modern architecture and customer-proven installations, unique in the industry. Moving forward, the teams continue to partner to address other aspects of their growing business, including collateral, search marketing and advertising.
