FilesX provides next-generation data protection and recovery solutions for remote and branch offices. With broken links, ineffective registration forms, and slow download rates, the company website wasn’t generating any leads. On top of that, poor coding didn’t meet the needs of search engines and hampered the nascent pay-per-click program.

FilesX approached PixelMEDIA for a much needed upgrade: they needed a search engine-friendly site to attract qualified leads both organically and through a paid campaign. Read More…

Move people. That was the challenge that Segway®, the creators of the iconic personal transporters, presented to PixelMEDIA. Segway knows that once people experience riding a Segway PT, they want to own one. They needed a partner who could bring that same emotional energy and feeling online. This was a key driver for their website redesign: drive interaction, encourage a test drive, and link potential buyers to product dealers. The new website needed to reflect the motion, innovation, and selling points of their products—all while serving Segway’s three primary target audiences: individuals, businesses, and police and government. Founded in 2000, Netcordia is a leading provider of network management solutions, helping customers proactively solve IT problems before they have a negative impact on the business. Due to an expanding product offering and market presence, Netcordia required a new brand identity—including a fresh look and messaging—that would reinforce its elevated position in the industry. The catch: the new brand and supporting elements had to be developed and launched in time for a fast-approaching sales meeting and an industry tradeshow. Read More…

Cyber-Ark Software provides digital vaults for securing and managing privileged passwords and highly-sensitive information for global Fortune 1000 companies such as Visa, Wells Fargo, T. Rowe Price, and ING Direct. As Cyber-Ark has continued to mature over the years and extend its market reach, it looked to strengthen its brand and cater to a higher, CXO-level audience.

The company desired a fresh, updated brand identity that could be consistently executed across a range of online and offline marketing vehicles, from the corporate website to product packaging and collateral. Imagery needed to elevate the brand and help create a sophisticated, business-focused design, while the messaging sought to educate and speak to top-of-mind security issues. The one caveat for the project: everything had to be completed for a critical product launch in three short months. Read More…

Cbeyond offers managed telecommunications services to small businesses in the Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Denver, Houston, and Los Angeles metros. With the 2004 launch of www.cbeyond.net, Cbeyond wanted to generate more search engine traffic. But using keywords like “phone company” and “T-1 Internet” only wasted time and money, as the company attracted too many people outside its service areas.

So Cbeyond turned again to long-time partner PixelMEDIA—who had designed and developed the site—to focus on luring more qualified prospects and targeted site traffic. Read More…

What’s a dynamic way to promote your product and your industry leadership? Start talking. That’s what PixelMEDIA said to Ektron, an industry leader in content management systems (CMS). Ektron wanted to bring the enthusiasm of their CEO, Bill Rogers, to the web and trade show floor. They also wanted to show how their CMS benefits users across an enterprise. They knew “yet another product demo” wouldn’t help them stand out from the crowd. PixelMEDIA needed to heighten the visibility of this industry star on the rise—so they turned on the spotlight. Harvey Industries needed an innovative way to train their rapidly expanding pool of warehouse personnel. Most training had previously entailed job shadowing where new hires would learn what they could in a few months before jumping in on their own. This model worked, but wasn’t scalable to Harvey’s success and growth. The initial prototype needed to:

  • Demonstrate the strength and extensibility of Web-enabled computer-based training
  • Create an experience that would appeal to and be usable by a non-technical audience
  • Provide clear metrics to assess progress
  • Clearly demonstrate ROI to the Executive committee

When SPECTRUM was rolled out over ten years ago at Networld+Interop it was considered the most revolutionary application interface of its time. After ten years of steady feature and functionality enhancements at the code-level, it was time to release an equally impactful user interface update as the product shifted from a client-server base to being fully Web-enabled.
